THE FIVE SHOWS DEAN NEVER MISSES.
1. Man to Man with Dean Leaner (C4). The classiest show on TV, though that’s hardly a tough gig in the current climate.
2. Make Me A Supermodel (C5). I originally tuned in hoping this would be an erotic retelling of the Frankenstein story. Best with the sound off.
3. Divorce Court (Living TV). Just to laugh at men who didn’t get a pre-nup. How can you make a solemn commitment to a woman without protecting your financial assets?
4. A Question of Sport (BBC1). Still the funniest show on the box. And a good mental workout into the bargain.
5. Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace. I’ve said this before, but I still believe it to be the most significant televisual event since Quantum Leap. Not that it’s ever on. Darkplace, that is. ‘Leap’ is heavily-syndicated.
